Anjali is the Education Intern for Waterwell for the 2023-2024 school year, through which she also is a Teaching Assistant for the Senior Devising class, taught by Heather Lanza. She graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University magna cum laude with a B.A. in Sociology in May 2023, where she received departmental honors for her thesis, and the Dasha Amsterdam Epstein Award in Playwriting from the theatre department. She’s also an alum of The National Theater Institute at The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, where she studied playwriting. Anjali is so excited to work at Waterwell and to (lovingly and with credit) steal the many amazing teaching methods and exercises she has learned from the wonderful theater teachers she’s had.
