Still Time To Pledge
We still need your help. Please take a moment to click here now and give whatever you can, so that we can give our graduating seniors and Nick Jones's thrilling new play the production they deserve.
If you've already given, thank you, and I hope you'll consider giving again. Or forwarding this to friends. Or sharing on Facebook or Twitter why you felt this project was worthy of your support.
If you've considered giving and hesitated or forgot, now is the time! Kickstarter will only honor the pledges of projects that reach their funding goal. And please know that any amount - even $1, $5 or $10 helps tremendously. The number of backers boosts our visibility, and those small gifts quickly add up.
Most of us remember an experience with the arts, a performance we saw or were in when we were young that shaped us and became part of who we are. A memory of beauty or joy, or sweat and camaraderie. For many of our students, the New Works Lab is that experience. Thank you for helping us give that to them.
KELLI O'HARA JOINS STL YEAR TWO!
Kelli O'Hara in Bridges of Madison County
Waterwell's Summer Theater Lab is proud and honored to have Broadway Star Kelli O'Hara join us in year two of it's programming. Currently on Broadway with Bridges of Madison County, this four-time Tony nominee is our first Master Class Artist to join our faculty this summer.
Now in its second year, the Waterwell Summer Theater Lab offers dedicated high school students the opportunity to engage in week-long intensives in theater and music theater with world-class practitioners in the heart of New York City's fabled Theater District. Last year's inaugural session brought students from across the nation including the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, LaGuardia School of Performing Arts and the Professional Performing Arts School, who were taught by guest artists Stephen Adly Guirgis (Tony Nominee), Lin-Manuel Miranda (In The Heights), Otis Sallid (Smokey Joe's Cafe) and Beau Willimon (House of Cards).
SAVE: The next 20 people who apply before Mar 14, 2014, get one session for only $599! (Only valid for one session.)
