Current 5th graders: we will be holding Round 1 auditions remotely and Round 2 auditions in person for placement in the Waterwell Drama Program at the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) for the 2023-2024 academic year.
To be considered, please note the following steps and deadlines:
Step 1All current 5th grade students must list PPAS on their Middle School Ranking Sheet on MySchools no later than Tuesday, December 1st.
Step 2In place of an in-person round one audition, all students must submit a one-minute monologue and one musical theater song (or 16 bars of a song) to the DOE’s Virtual Audition Submission tool, also by Wednesday, December 9th.
Step 3Notifications for students invited back for Round 2 will be sent by late December, and in-person callbacks will take place Jan 22, 9:00am-7:00pm. Students invited to callbacks will not need to prepare any new material.
