Arian Moayed in a Pulitzer Prize Finalist Play, Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo

After originating the part of Musa in Rajiv Joseph's Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, Arian Moayed recently started previews for the remount of the show at the Center Theater Group's Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. Only days before the first preview, the entire cast, crew and company received news that the show was awarded a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Drama.
The play was named among the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama finalists with Kristoffer Diaz's The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity and Sarah Ruhl's In the Next Room or the vibrator play. The musical Next to Normal, by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, won the top honor.
Congrats Arian on being in the original production of Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.
