Waterwell awarded NY State Council on the Arts Grant

Waterwell is extremely grateful to the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) for providing public funds to support its new theatre initiatives.

NYSCA is a state agency that uses New York state tax dollars to fund valued local arts programs and services. Its New Theatre Advancement Program encourages and supports the development of new theatre organizations that demonstrate artistic potential and/or accomplishment.

In Waterwell's case the funding is directed to artists' fees and production expenses for The/King/Operetta, currently in previews at Barrow Street Theatre.
