Waterwell sponsor, The Actors Institute, receives DeWitt Stern Local Hero Award

After seeing last years drop The Persians, The Actors Institute (TAI) donated over 300 hours of rehearsal space for Waterwell's next drop, Marco Millions (based on lies). This generous support for Waterwell has been recognized by ART/NY with the Dewitt Local Hero Award, awarded each year "to bring attention to the mutually beneficial partnerships that exist between our member theatres and the small businesses located within their communities."

Gifford Booth, Director of TAI, will be awarded at Curtain Call, ART/NY's annual celebration of Off Broadway on Monday, June 5, 2006 at the American Airlines Theatre.
